The Pursuer

While World War II has been over for two years, its horrors linger within society, and chance encounters expose the still-festering wounds. Like most Americans, Beatrix Patterson and her husband Thomas Ling are trying to accept the past in order to focus on the future and a family.

The Seer

It’s February 1942. War grips the world. Asian hate runs rampant, and New Orleans is a dangerous place for Chinese-British scientist Thomas Ling as he collides with self-proclaimed psychic Beatrix Patterson. She’s a good liar with an excellent memory, which in truth is her only gift—well, that and conning the well-heeled out of their money and secrets.

The Finder

Three young women have been murdered in a cult-style ritual.  Or maybe they jumped off a beach cliff to their rocky deaths somehow to cleanse their sins.  Each have small concentric circles tattooed on their breasts.  It’s a variation of one used by local Indigenous groups.

What would you do if you learned of the malicious acts?

Doubts of the Heart

What if someone begged: “Please find Daddy’s killer.” The voice was just above a whisper, but Nica Dobson knew it was a desperate cry for help.

Once an undercover FBI consultant on medical leave, Nica understands breast cancer has changed her and for the first time in her life, she’s afraid. However, with that pleading call for help, she becomes embroiled in treachery, death threats, ugly deceptions, political mudslinging and double-dealing worthy of The Sopranos, CSI and Law & Order. How is this new Christian willing to go even as a mysterious force in the island underworld is determined to whip her off the plant?

Games of the Heart

This comedy/mystery novel is filled with eccentric, quirky characters, rollicking who-done-what-to-whom-and-why themes with issues snatched from today’s headlines.  The star is a plus-size itinerant minister, Pastor Jane Angieski.  She’s a thirty-ish self-confessed buttinski with a love for coffee and all things chocolate who acts anything but pious, which contributes to regular calamities.
